Sanchez Auto is a small automotive shop that is growing and looking to add an Automotive Service Technician to our team.
Job Responsibility/Duties:
- Perform work in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined on vehicles and identify potential troublesome areas.
- Communicate with service writer to understand the customer’s needs and to discuss necessary work to be performed.
- Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
- Repair malfunctions and damages as needed.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications.
- Document work performed.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure quality of work performed.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Mechanic Requirements:

Experience and skill requirements:
- High School diploma required.
- Good communication skills required.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week.
- Punctual attendance.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work with your hands and arms on a regular basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
All positions require a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay varies based on experience.
